Don't judge a song by...

Is it weird that I listen to K-pop, J-pop, TW-pop? I don't know if it is, but I find myself listening to Asian music. Friends or people at work do say is strange I don't like music from my own culture such as merengue, salsa, bachata. True, it makes me feel like I don't even fit into my own culture, but I can't help it. I have a really really really small selection of Spanish songs in my iphone, but is just because I feel all Spanish music sounds the same to me. But hey!!!, that is just my own opinion about it. I know people that love Spanish music and they aren't even Latino. At least at home I don't have to defend my music taste, since my two brothers actually listen to Asian music too. I really don't know how to explain why I listen to Asian music, I just do. Listening to them makes me feel happy and is just fun to try new things. Some of my favorite songs have the funniest music videos. Some other songs I have a much deep and serious theme for their music videos. If I come across a new Asian song, I like to search the translation of the lyrics, to learn about the meaning of the song and the artist.
Don't dismiss a song that is not original from here, give it a try, because you don't know what new and fascinating thing you'll learn about another culture and yourself.

This is one of my favorite songs. Is from an awesome Korean dramas I watched over 2 years ago. The lyrics are very sweet. Is about falling in love with someone, but without even knowing you are falling in love. A love that came without words, and left scars behind.  Enjoy.
